Patriotic EndeavorsNew Hampshire Daughters are active in supporting our active-duty military and veterans through a variety of service projects. Volunteers collect items for local Veterans Administration (VA) hospitals and for those serving overseas. Daughters volunteer as "Pease Greeters", welcoming home troops who pass through New Hampshire and greet our veterans who participate in the Honor Flight Network.
New Hampshire DAR is proud to be a member of the Vietnam War Commemoration and of our own Fallen Heroes Moving Wall ceremonies. Learn more about how DAR members support patriotism. |
Historic PreservationNew Hampshire Daughters support historic preservation efforts through awards, grants, and contests.
Members participate in various projects to help preserve the cultural heritage of the United States, including preserving documents, buildings, and placing markers at locations of historic significance. New Hampshire is proud to maintain the New Hampshire Children's Attic, one of multiple period rooms at the DAR Museum, located in Memorial Continental Hall in Washington, D.C. |

Cathedral of the Pines ServiceThe Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge, New Hampshire, is a national memorial dedicated to the memory and honor of all Americans who serve the nation. NHSODAR has hosted an annual Memorial Service at the majestic outdoor chapel since 1947. The Cathedral of the Pines event offers people from around the state, and across the country, the opportunity to come together for a time of fellowship and inspiration. Each year, a National Society officer or other distinguished guest brings an inspiring message for guests to contemplate.
