DAR Good Citizens AwardThe DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest, created in 1934, is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship.
This award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. These students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree. DAR ScholarshipsNew Hampshire DAR offers two scholarships and one student award available to New Hampshire high school seniors based upon community service, character, and scholarship. Contact us via email for application instructions and information. The deadline is February 1st. NSDAR awards a variety of scholarships. Applicants for the program are required to be U.S. citizens. Additionally, they must currently attend or have plans to attend an accredited college or university within the United States.
